Ekka holiday.

I love how we get a holiday for Ekka, the annual Royal Queensland Show. An event filled with rides and games, the famous strawberry ice cream, fireworks, and the many many showbags one can buy filled with goodies!

Instead of fighting the crowds this year, we decided to enjoy the Ekka Show Day holiday by having some R&R at home.

 
Feasting on grilled yakiniku and spicy chicken while watching a whole lot of Friends was the prefect way to spend the mid-week holiday together.
