Baby it's cold outside.

Nothing like a little cake and piping hot coffee on a cold winter day. 

It's been raining. A lot. 

The toaster fogs up when you toast bread, and you can see a little bit or steam as it heats up. Your fingers feel numb, frozen as you prep the ingredients for meals. A hot shower is really great while you are having it, but seems almost like a bad idea the moment you turn the water off. 

I do not miss the humidity back home, but the warm is something I do hanker for every now and then.
